Ammon's Tournament

Ammon's team beat Tri-Valley, then they beat Riverview to make it into the championship game. Then the team lost to Philo and came in 2nd place for the whole tournament. The weather was absolutely fabulous. Ammon played really well!! The whole team was amazing! We all had a wonderful day. Thanks to Jonette for the pictures.

Emma's Soccer

Finally, some soccer pictures. I knew you couldn't wait any longer. The bottom photo is of the League championship team!! They were undefeated, again!! This picture was taken with some subs to help boost our numbers. It could have been called the Zanesville Ward soccer team since only 3 team members (only 2 in this picture) do not go to church with us. We've got the Edwards, Geddes, Fuhriman, Gubler, Bausermans and Laulusa all on this team. Don't forget the amazing coach/mom who lead them to victory. The top picture is of the party after the triumph. These good girls helped serve the pizza and pop to the younger teams. Aren't they awesome?!!

Rachel at School

Here are some pictures of Rachel. The first picture is of Rachel with some of her friends. They are at a Mocktail party that someone in the complex held to get to know the neighbors. The next picture is Rachel with her missionary before he left for Mexico. She is working hard and having fun this semester.

Some pictures from Matt's Mission

Here are some pictures Matt sent for us to enjoy. The first one is of him and some other missionaries watching General Conference last weekend. They look very intent and it looks like Matt's socks don't have any holes in them!!

The next picture is Matt with some of the other Spanish speaking missionaries in his area while they all try to sit on the same couch. Why? I am not sure. May be there was not enought seating elsewhere, may be the people on the other side of the room have cooties, or may be they are just goofy 19 and 20 year old guys relaxing together. Whatever the reason it looks like they are having a good time.

e

The next picture is of the whole spanish speaking group on P-day. Matthew is definitely my son, he is in the front row of the group picture.

This last picture is of Matt with his companion from Kaysville. Matt thinks he is a really great missionary. They are working hard and doing good. Please pray for their protection. Thanks.

Here is a picture of Matthew with his companion at the Mesa Temple's Visitors Center. They went with this family to see the Mesa Temple's Easter pageant. As you can see he is always inspiring people to stick bunny ears on him for pictures. He sounds like he is doing well. This companion went home just this week and Matt is now training a "greenie", hard to believe but true nonetheless. We are all so proud of him. Even though we miss him, we are glad he is doing so well.

Good-bye White belt. Hello, Yellow belt!!

Here is Ammon with Master Hardwick, Sensei Bob, Sensei Butch, Sensei Larry, and Sensei Brad. He promoted to yellow belt a couple of weeks ago. He did an amazing job even when the Sensei was in his face and really hard on him. He may not look so happy in the picture but he is - trust me. He always gets really nervous when he is surrounded by so many black belts. (Just one more belt and then Emma gets to start - that makes her very happy.) Way to go Ammon!!!
